71. accomplished young man
feeling myself. feeling myself. feeling myself.
each time you say a word, it changes. the word changes, and i also change the way it's being said. pay attention. i'm an artist at work. i'm a chef, i'm a director, i'm a card dealer under an emerald lit light in the corner of a room.
but alas. i am also just a young man. accomplished, yet still accomplishing. accomplishments are the talk of this country, the talk of this society. i had a goal and i set forth to kick the ball into it. i ran straight through the goal and the trumpets blared in triumph.
i want to be alone just as i wish not to be. it's a weird dichotomy, the dual nature of being. of just being me, maybe. i know i'm not the only one. i can read it on your face, every last one of you.
