18. daytime walks, bulgogi and ibuprofen

I left the house once today to buy more fever tree sodas. Pink grapefruit and elderflower tonic water. I prefer the pink grapefruit any day. It’s a short walk, just one block to the at the end of the block. It’s so lovely. I could just melt. The sun glistens through the tree leaves, and the leaves on this one tree are a blend of red, purple, crimson, brown — i don’t know what to call it. That’s what makes it so beautiful. I wish there was a floating river and a wooden boat that could carry me a few inches above the ground, so i could lay down and watch everything pass with my back against the air.

My ankles are still throbbing. I iced, took ibuprofen and Tylenol, and put on a heat pack from my housemate. None of them helped. Still throbbing.

The best thing to help ease the pain is a warm pan of bulgogi dup-bap and BoJack horseman.
